چکیده

In the framework of causal perturbation theory, it is possible to avoid ultraviolet divergences in the calculation of Feynman diagrams from the start, making subsequent regularization of divergent diagrams unnecessary. We give a simple introduction to the most important calculational features of the method. The method is also applied to the ’divergent’ general massive two-loop sunrise selfenergy diagram, where it leads directly to an analytic expression for the imaginary part of the diagram, whereas the real part can be obtained by a single integral dispersion relation.

The Differential equation method : calculation of vertex - type diagrams with one non - zero mass

The Differential equation method: calculation of vertex-type diagrams with one non-zero mass Abstract The differential equation method is applied to evaluate analytically two-loop vertex Feynman diagrams. Three on-shell infrared divergent planar two-loop diagrams with zero thresholds contributing to the processes Z → bb (for zero b mass) and/or H → gg are calculated in order to demonstrate a ne...

Remarks on Calculation of Autocorrelation on Finite Dyadic Groups by Local Transformations of Decision Diagrams

The paper considers calculation of autocorrelation functions on finite dyadic groups over decision diagrams. The methods exploit recursive structure of both autocorrelation matrices and decision diagrams. First, it is discussed calculation of the autocorrelation through the Wiener-Khinchin theorem implemented over decision diagrams. Then, it is proposed a method for calculation of separate auto...

Primitively divergent diagrams in κ-deformed scalar field with quartic self-interaction

We obtain the primitively divergent diagrams in κ-deformed scalar field in four-dimensional spacetime with quartic self-interaction in order to investigate the effect of the fundamental length q = 1/(2κ) on such diagrams. Thanks to κ-deformation, we find that the dimensionally regularized forms of the diagrams lead to finite results in the limit of space-time dimension four. The effect of the d...

Zero - Mass Approach to Counterterms

Massive Feynman integrals containing more than one loop momentum are hard to evaluate. Fortunately, the understanding of the critical behavior of the field theory requires only knowledge of the divergent counterterms. In the last chapter we have seen that their calculation reduces to the calculation of logarithmically divergent diagrams without tadpole parts for Z g and Z m 2 and of quadratical...

Nucleon spectral function at finite temperature and the onset of superfluidity in nuclear matter.

Nucleon selfenergies and spectral functions are calculated at the saturation density of symmetric nuclear matter at finite temperatures. In particular, the behaviour of these quantities at temperatures above and close to the critical temperature for the superfluid phase transition in nuclear matter is discussed. It is shown how the singularity in the thermodynamic T-matrix at the critical tempe...
